Brandy joined the Riverview Veterinary Clinic team in 2020, right before COVID-19 closures swept through the province. Although she didn’t have many opportunities to meet clients in person at first, she was able to connect with countless patients during that time and has since enjoyed getting to know all their owners as well.

​

A 2001 graduate of the Animal Health Technology program at NAIT, Brandy began her career in general practice before spending several years in emergency medicine. After moving to Devon, she returned to general practice and started her family.

​

Working part-time at Riverview initially allowed her to stay involved in her children’s school and activities. She has since returned to full-time hours, continuing to care for the pets and clients she’s come to know in the Devon area.

​

Outside of work, Brandy leads a busy family life with her twin daughters, son, boyfriend, one large dog named Daryl, a Shih Tzu mix named Fermata, and three active cats—Jet, Silver, and Miko. Last year, she tried Antique Tractor Pulls for the first time, a new hobby that may become a regular part of her already full schedule
