Dr. Amy is the owner of Riverview Veterinary Clinic. Growing up in central Alberta, she was always drawn to sick, injured and orphaned animals, and for as long as she can remember she’s wanted to be a veterinarian.

Marcella discovered her talents with dogs at the age of 13 years, when she began volunteering in a dog-sledding kennel. Her love of animals and her skills with them have grown since then.

Mykie was born and raised out in the country with her two siblings. At a young age she helped her family build one of the first straw bale houses in Alberta.

Brandy joined Riverview Veterinary Clinic in 2020, bringing years of experience in both general and emergency veterinary medicine. A NAIT Animal Health Technology graduate, she’s dedicated to caring for pets and supporting their families in the Devon community. Outside of work, Brandy enjoys family life with her three kids and six pets. ​​

Trisha joined Riverview Veterinary Clinic after graduating from the Veterinary Technology program at TRU in 2024. With a special interest in feline behaviour, she brings valuable insight into the dynamics of multi-cat households. Outside of work, Trisha enjoys reading, music, and spending time with her nieces, nephews, and her cats.

Hello! My name’s Linda — though for some reason, everyone keeps saying “Linda Listen.” I don’t get it, but I go along with it! I have a talent for “borrowing” things around the clinic, especially pens (they’re just so tempting right after someone uses them!). My favorite activities include sleeping, eating, and getting lots of scritches from my favorite humans. I can be a little shy at first, but I promise I’m friendly once I get to know you!

Hi there! I’m Kevin, born in 2021 and proudly raised right here at RVC. I’m a bit shy when meeting new folks, but once you get to know me, you’ll see my softer side — especially if you have treats! I adore belly rubs, tasty snacks, and hanging out with calm, friendly dogs. You’ll usually find me up front keeping Marcella company — or at least pretending to help her work!

Hi, I’m Katniss! I was born in 2012 and have been at RVC ever since I was brought in with my siblings. They’ve all found their fur-ever homes, but I decided to stay — the world outside RVC feels a little too scary for me.

You might spot me up front, but I’ll probably dart away if you make eye contact (it’s a bit intimidating!). The staff here are great and let me do my own thing, which makes me pretty happy. Sometimes, if the moment feels right and we’re alone, I’ll even let them give me a few gentle pets.
